Why I Ride: I ride for families like mine, in honor of my mom. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s seven years ago and we’ve been living the “longest goodbye” since.
I ride for the bravery and perseverance of my mom and the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease in hopes that one day we can stop progression and one day have a world without Alzheimer’s.
I ride for the strength and unwavering love of my dad and the over 11 million family members and friends who serve as caregivers.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
