Why I Ride: So many friends and family members have been devastated with this terrible disease; either directly or as care-givers. I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. I serve on the Ride to End ALZ Texas Steering Committee and will participating in the ride again in November. This is the 3rd year for the Texas ride and I'm so happy to see the growth in both riders and funds raised.
I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by science.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
