Why I Ride: My loving, vibrant mom, Flo, lost her battle on mother's day last year. I remember in the early stages of her diagnosis she said she was going to fight this awful disease! Now I want to continue that mission even now!
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. I am determined to go the distance for all those affected, as I have seen first hand the challenges family members and friends go through. It sucks. There are way too many people living with this disease, and passing away of this disease. Help us reach a cure and support this important cause!
I am participating in the Ride to End ALZ on Sunday, 6/13, in the Colorado Bike Ride to End ALZ, in Fort Collins, CO. It is a one day ride, where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to bring forward methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for cheering me on, consider contributing to this key mission, and let's go "have Fun like Flo" and wear your purple with us on June 13!
Once the ride ends, that certainly doesn't mean the fight is over! You have until July 30, 2022 to make donations for this event and to the ALZ Association to continue the fight with us. Thank you.
Cheer Me On!
