Our team is holding a ride in the DFW area for riders who are unable to attend the Wimberly ride in person.  

I’ve been a volunteer for the North Central Texas chapter for more than 20 years.  During that time my father passed away from dementia related causes and I’ve talked with hundreds of people who have travelled or are currently on that terrible journey. 

Alzheimer's is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. More than 5 million Americans are living with it and 16 million are acting as their caregivers which is a 24-7-365 job.

There is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. But together, we can help change that. 100 percent of the funds raised from this event go toward the Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer's and other dementias. 

Alzheimer’s touches all of us, and it will take all of us to find a cure. Research is the key to unlock the secrets of this terrible disease. Please join our team or donate today or do both!  You don't have to be an experienced cyclist to join.  We will have routes and leaders to accommodate all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced). Join the team!  The Grateful Heads need you!
