Why I Ride: I ride 20-25 miles each weekend with my sister (Diane Elizabeth Burke) and cousin (Karen Bernier) .... hence "trois cousines". We love to ride the scenic hills around Sutton, Millbury, Grafton, Oxford and Worcester.
I wasn’t aware of this Organization or ride until a friend from Sutton donated thru Facebook for another rider. I immediately asked "trois cousines" if they were up for the challenge and all agreed.
Ride to End ALZ, a fully supported one day fundraiser where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease.
Here we are .... on June 3rd, leaving Hampton Beach State Park, three cousins riding 100 miles each with a purpose ... to raise awareness and funds for Research. Whether a husband, wife, mother, father, brother, sister, family member, neighbor or friend ... we are all surrounded by this disease and it can affect anyone one of us.
