Why I Ride: 2 years ago I invited myself to join my cousins Barbara Daigneault and Diane Elizabeth Burke on a 20 mile pre-dawn ride. I immediately fell in love with the sunrises, crowing roosters, deer, empty quiet roads and great conversations. These rides became the hi-light of my week as we explored the back roads of central Massachusetts and I looked forward to the 5:00 am wheels on the pavement so we could see the sunrise ! I am determined and excited to be a part of team Trois Cousines as we ride 100 miles on June 3rd to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s and dementia......diseases that have affected family and friends.
We are participating in the Ride to End ALZ, a fully supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease.
We are so appreciative of everyone who has already donated and we are close to our $15,000 goal! I can’t wait to share our stories and photos from this amazing event. Thank you for cheering us on.
