Why I Ride: Seemingly everyone we know has a friend or family member affected by Alzheimer's. It is such a tough disease due to the often long and debilitating trajectory. This will be my second year participating in the Ride to End ALZ because every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
I will be riding in honor of my Uncle Timmy who passed from Dementia 9 years ago. In addition, my father in law - Brian Igoe - was diagnosed with Alzheimer's last year and i'll be joining his friends on an in-person ride this June.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
