Hey, Family and Friends! Alzheimer's affects all of us, personally, socially and economically. We stand on a precipice of greater hope for a cure. Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer's research- only dollars. My grandmother suffered from dementia. A smart, vibrant women was struck down too early for her family, her friends, her church and herself. My Aunt Stelly was struck by this insidious disease. Like her mother, she was a vibrant woman and the center of her family. Lost too young, her family suffers the tragedy of loss after the years of suffering. This does not have to happen to others.
