As you may know, my father has Alzheimer's disease. A few weeks ago, for the first time, he didn't know who I was. It hurts to see a creative, brilliant mind fade a little every month. So, I decided to do something about it...
This July, I'll bicycle 252 miles in 3 days across South Carolina in Ride to End ALZ South Carolina. This event raises funds for the research, care and support efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I'm joining Ride to End ALZ, because I want Alzheimer's to be no worse than the common cold. I want to help speed up progress toward better treatments, prevention and eventually, a cure.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer's research — only dollars. So, I am asking for your support. Please help me push the research forward for today's and tomorrow's Alzheimer's patients!
Thank you for clicking the purple DONATE button above and cheering me on!
UPDATE: As of mid-April, I've hit my "official" fund-raising goal of $2,500 and I am humbled by the support of my friends. I'm not stopping here! My personal goal is to raise $5,000 to this worthy cause. Words cannot express my gratitude, but THANK YOU!
