Dear Friends and Family,
Last year I participated in "A Ride to Remember" to raise awareness and funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. I plan to ride the "century" leg (100 miles) from Orangeburg to Charleston this year. By doing so, I honor my dear momma Josie as she battles dementia.
Currently, more than five million Americans have Alzheimer's, and that number is expected to grow to as many as sixteen million by 2050. I believe the first person to be cured of Alzheimer's is living today, and we can wipe out this devastating disease in his/her lifetime. Now is the time to come together to change the course of this illness!
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to provide care support for all affected and to advance research toward better treatments, prevention, and ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s! Your support means the world to me on this memorable journey.
