I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
My dad was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's, one of more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care.
Although there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research, there is no currently no cure and no prevention, and too few effective treatments. Which is why I am asking for your support.
Update - I completed the 60 mile route at the event on June 12. Check out the video of the route we rode https://www.relive.cc/view/vRO7gLMYzyO
Donations can be made for another week or two after the event.
Thank you for cheering me on.
