Why I Ride: I am excited to participate in the Ride June 12, 2022, in Ft. Collins, CO, to help fund research to END ALZ! My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about 20 years ago, then my brother, Duane, was diagnosed. Not much longer and his wife, Bev, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. All three did not survive the disease. In 2017 my wife, Donna, was diagnosed with dementia probably caused by Alzheimer's. I'm riding with the goal of Donna being among the first to survive Alzheimer's!
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
