I will be riding 100 miles to honor my mother, Theresa, who died of Alzheimer’s disease in 2018—her grace and spirit while living with disease are an inspiration to me. I ride for all of the other 6 million American’s who have the disease and those who care for them including the 11 million Americans who provide unpaid care for a loved one. And I ride for a future with better prevention, treatment, and even a cure! There are many new ideas in Alzheimer’s research, but sadly the research is still underfunded.
I am asking for your support to help the cause by sponsoring my ride. For the New England Ride to End Alz, 90% of funds raised will go to research and the remaining 10% will support the Alzheimer’s Association’s full mission, which includes providing support to families affected by Alzheimer's disease and all other dementias.
This disease touches so many of us. Thank you in advance for any support you can provide!
Cheer Me On!
