Why I Ride: I lost my mother and my mother-in-law to Alzheimer’s. I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the millions of family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by the dedicated cyclists who fundraise for Alzheimer’s research each year, and ride miles and miles to spread awareness.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating in Ride to End ALZ events around the country in 2021. With each mike I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
