Why I Ride:
I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s.
I ride to honor the memory of my amazing and loving father, Simon Flores, who left this earth for eternal life on 05-13-2021, but only after a decade-long battle against the effects of Alzheimer's. I think about him every time I ride my bike, but on August 29th, I am publicly honoring him by riding for the fight to end Alzheimer's.
I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. In remembrance of my Dad, my hero, thank you for cheering me on.
