Why I Ride: I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by science. I ride for my mother in law Anna Crissman who we lost last year. This year we ride, i had hoped to ride for her last year as my heart was heavy with her loss. The fact that i will be able to ride this year makes this even more special.
This year is even more special since i will be serving as the chair for the event. To make it even more of a memorable weekend my wife and i are chairing the Alzheimer's walk in New Braunfels on the Saturday before the ride.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Ride boldly, ride.
