On May 1st of this year, my Grandpa Jim Shehee passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a loving father of 5, grandfather of 10, and great grandfather of 6 when he passed at the age of 86. I am taking part in the Ride to End ALZ again this year to raise funding for the continued research of this terrible disease.
On Sunday, August 29, I will be biking 110 miles alone to “go the distance” in support of Alzheimer’s research. Consider donating $0.10/mile ($11), $1/mile ($110), somewhere in between, or more! I’ll share pictures of my ride afterwards to prove that I earned your donation.
The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s disease research. 100% of donations for this event will go directly into research to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Thank you for your support!
