I am determined to go the distance in memory of my dad and for all those affected by Alzheimer's. We lost dad to Early Onset Alzheimer's when he was just 65 years old. Today I ride in his memory with hope that one day no family will have to go through what my family has. I also ride for those who we have lost to this horrible disease, for those still fighting and for all the caregivers who give their all day in and day out to care for their loved one.
I am inspired by the strength of the more than 5 million Americans living with this disease, and the 16 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by science.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer's research -- only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's. Thank you for cheering me on.
Love and Hugs -
