I ride in memory of my dad who passed away in November 2019 from Early Onset Alzheimer’s at the age of 65.
There is no cure for Alzheimer’s and it robs the person affected & their family of moments and memories. I miss my dad so much which is why I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s.
I am inspired by the strength of the more than 5 million Americans living with this disease, and the 16 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by science.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Virtual Ride to End ALZ fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
