Why I Ride: I ride for my mama. I've been by her side since she was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimers, and have seen how much this disease can take from a family. But I also see how much it has taught us, and I am constantly inspired by her resilience and grace.
Cycling is close to my heart as I have ridden many life-changing miles in the past, and believe riding is the best way to clear your head, see a new place, and be in the moment. I'm excited to ride for my mom alongside a team that believes in supporting the Alzheimer's Association just as much as I do.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
