Someone once said to "Focus on the race in front of you". For me that is not the daily race of life or even the internal race against myself to be faster or go farther on the bike. For me, it's the race against time....the time we have left with our loved ones affected by dementia and Alzheimer's. The time we have left where they remember our name, our face and even their own memories. That is WHY I ride!
Please consider making a donation that is 100% used in research for a cure. This year it gets real. We are riding several events including:
- The Sunshine Ride To Remember in Cleveland in June
- Our yearly 100 mile ride through SW OH the last weekend in Aug
- The inaugural Alzheimer's 80 mile ride in Minnesota in Oct
- A 2023 training and riding season that will surpass 3,000 miles
If you want to get involved, we would love to have you join our team to ride the OH ride. You can ride ANY distance, ANYwhere you want, ANY bike (indoor or outdoor). We have participants that go anywhere from 10-110 miles. Your participation and fundraising is the important factor!
