Fundraising Progress
My Story
In June 2024 I am attending my third year hiking - to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease by participating in 48 Peaks for The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I will be joining many other teams hiking to the summit of all 48 of New Hampshire’s 4,000 ft. peaks in the White Mountains. This year, I’m making my first overnight and hiking across multiple mountains. I am pushing my comfort level a little and asking my friends, family and contacts to help by doing the same. Please make a donation and help me reach my goal! Any donation is appreciated. Last year I received so much support from so many close friends and family through donations small and large! My initial goal is to reach $300, however I have hopes to reach even further to help this cause.
Today, over 50 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 6 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 11 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia, providing over $287 billion worth of unpaid care. We must take action now, as these numbers continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
