Our Team Story
This June, stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s. Join our team for The Longest Day, the day the Alzheimer’s Association calls on everyone to fight Alzheimer’s disease. Together, we'll raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
We lost our mom in 2022 to Alzheimer's disease. It is truly a cruel and devastating illness that touches so many aspects of our lives. Many families do not have the financial means to get assistance for their loved ones so they are left to care for them as best they can and many times at the expense of their own health. A cure for our mom didn't come in her lifetime, but we hope that our efforts today will help another family in the future.
On June 22nd from 1:00 until 5:00 we are hosting a pig roast and silent auction. If you would like to purchase tickets to the event, please contact Kelly at kelly.gardner68@yahoo.com. Tickets are $20 per person and include food, drink and an entry into a door prize. There will be numerous articles in the silent auction and all proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Association.
