Our Team Story
Legacy. It's something that is passed down from generation to generation. It is what we remember about our ancestors and what we hope to pass on to the next generation.
As I look back at these family pictures, I see my grandmother, her sisters and brothers. Their legacies included musicians, teachers, people who cherished their families, loved, laughter and giving back to their communities. Unfortunately, another thing that most of my grandmother's family shared was Alzheimer's.
My grandmother was one of eight children. She was the ONLY one who did not suffer from Alzheimer's. It skipped her, but my mother was not spared.
As I look at these pictures, I remember the love and laughter. I remember what they could not. My cousins, sisters and I carry on their legacies, and hope that our legacy will be a world without Alzheimer's and dementia.
Will you join us in seeing that vision through? What will your legacy be?
