My Story
We are so happy that you are going to join us for Pickleball to End Alzheimer's on May 5th at the Sandy Springs Tennis Center (500 Abernathy Road NE, Atlanta 30328).
More than 6 million Americans are currently suffering from Alzheimer's disease costing the nation $345 billion in 2023. This is amount is expected to grow to $1 trillion by 2050. In the last few years groundbreaking treatments have become available and many more are on the horizon. By participating and donating to the Pickleball to End Alzheimer's you are becoming part of the exciting era of treatment for the disease.
All proceeds from this event will go to the Alzheimer's Association which is the leading funder of research to cure and treat Alzheimer's and other dementia. The Alzheimer's Association also provides care and support to people with Alzheimer's, their loved ones and their caretakers.
Please make a donation to help us meet our fundraising goal. The minimum donation to register is $50 per participant. A donation is required to register, and will not be refunded if the event is rained out.Please include your email address with the registration as that is how we will give you the final details.
Even if you are unable to participate in the event, please consider making a donation to help us end Alzheimer's and other dementia.
Pickleball to End Alzheimer's will consist of two simultaneous events, a pickleball mixer for 2.5-3.5 level players and a beginner's clinic for newcomers. The mixer will last 1 1/2 hours and the clinic will be 1 hour. There will be 2 sessions of each and you will be notified of your start time a week prior to the event. Please arrive at 2:30 for the first session.
