Fundraising Progress
I am
supporting the fight to end Alzheimer's
My Story
My name is Bob Moore. I am raising money for the Alzheimer's Association to help fund care, support and medical research in memory of my mother; Nancy Moore and mother-in-law; Dolores Dube. These two great women in my life suffered terribly from the devastating effects of dementia. They both lived their lives "serving and caring for" others and were loved by so many.
I am 71 years old, a two-time National Masters Powerlifting Champion, World Record holder and now, World Champion. I am passionate about competing in order to raise funds and awareness for fighting Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
On October 5th, I competed for Team USA at the 2024 World Masters Championships in Sun City, South Africa and was victorious. I won Gold Medals in the Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift and Overall Total. I returned home as the Masters 4 (age 70+) World Champion.
More importantly, due to the support of so many, I am closing in on my fundraising goal for the Alzheimer's Association! Please join me in my effort to honor those we've lost, to support those living with dementia and to fund critical research by donating today. Together we will stand up to the the darkness of Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
On behalf of the 7 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million caregivers - thank you!
Bob
