Our inspiration is always and forever Stray Dog Mark 'Mace' Macy and his wife Pam. Diagnosed in 2017 at age 64, ALZ continues to take away basic abilities but at his core "Mace is still Mace" with his steel blue eyes, ready smile, love for his family and friends, and concern for others.

Since doing the Winter Badwater crossing, and the 6 Marathons in 6 Days on Route 66 as fundraisers to End ALZ, we have expanded our TLD Team to include each and every participant in our Route 66 UltraRun race: 140 Miles of History and A Race for Everyone on Historic Route 66 in AZ [Route66UltraRun.com]. We donate a percentage of their registration fee and invite and encourage participants and crew members to donate and/or set up their own fundraising page.
