Our Team Story

This June, stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s. Join our team for "The Longest Day," the day the Alzheimer’s Association calls on everyone to fight Alzheimer’s disease. Together, we'll raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's care, support & research. In Fuquay-Varina, a team of ladies will be playing Mahjong, a game of skill and strategy that uses a lot of brain power, to raise funds for Alzheimer's research.

Many of us have (or have had) family members who are affected by this illness, and it's one that the medical community is struggling to find a cure for. It's not a sexy disease so government research money is hard to come by and pharmaceutical companies are far more interested in managing symptoms than finding cures.

Join our team and/or join us at Pine Acres Community Center on Tuesday, June 21st at 5:30 pm to help us meet our goal of $1,600!
