Our Team Story

Welcome to our team page for The Longest Day! We are determined to help end Alzheimer’s by raising funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Longest Day is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. On June 21, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through a fundraising activity of their choice. Our team is joining the fight! You can help by making a donation — or even joining our team — today.

In honor of our community at River Oaks Memory Care, we are excited to say we are having our first Rev Up For Alzheimer's event! The event is scheduled for June 17th between 1:00-4:00pm at our community, River Oaks 2961 West Spring Valley Pike, Miamisburg, OH 45432.

Our event is open to the public, we encourage everyone to come out and celebrate the Longest Day with our residents! We will have classic cars, motorcycles (followed by an organized ride out) face painting, balloon animals, carnival games, food, and raffle baskets. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association on our behalf.
