Our Team Story

Welcome to our team page for The Longest Day! I am a National Champion Powerlifter, World record holder and member of the MooreMuscle Barbell Club based in Odenton, Maryland. Our Team is determined to help end Alzheimer’s by raising funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Longest Day is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. On June 21, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through a fundraising activity. Our team is joining the fight! We will be conducting a Powerlifting competition featuring a number of U.S. National Champions. These National Champions compete for the coveted Most Valuable Lifter Trophy by accumulating "points" (one dollar = 1 point) in an effort to raise much needed funds for the Alzheimer's Association. The lifter who receives the most "points" will be awarded the Most Valuable Lifter trophy.

Please help us stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer's and all other dementia by making a donation today. Together, the strength of our light will outshine the darkness of Alzheimer’s. Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s.We need your help to end the relentless disease.

Thank you in advance for your support!
