Paint the Plaza Purple is the signature event for the Alzheimer's Association in Meridian Mississippi. In it's inaugural year last year we raised over $13,000 in the fight against the terror of dementia. The goal for 2024 is to double that amount and become one of the premier fundraisers for the Alzheimer's association in the Southeast. Our goal is to show the world how giving and passionate our community is here in East Mississippi and West Alabama.

The best part is, all you have to do to contribute is enjoy a wonderful meal and shop in any of the wonderful restaurants and shops in downtown Meridian on Tuesday April 16th! There will be live entertainment and refreshments in Dumont Plaza which will be decked out in Purple - the color of the fight against Alzheimers. So wear your purlple!

Dumont Plaza will "literally" be lit up against the darkness by luminaries that can be purchased in honor or memory of all those we know that have been effected by this terrible disease. Let's fill the Plaza with light, hope and love for a future that knows a world free from the darkness of Alzheimer's!
