Our Team Story

This June, stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s. Join our team for The Longest Day, the day the Alzheimer’s Association calls on everyone to fight Alzheimer’s disease. Together, we'll raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's care, support and research.

In November 2017, less than 2 months before my wedding my father died of dementia. Maggie was born 2 years later and will never know her maternal grandpa as anything more than photos and stories told to her by myself and my mom. When I was 5 months old, I too lost my maternal grandpa to this disease. It's time to do more to find a way to end this disease. The pain of a loved one not knowing you anymore and not knowing themselves anymore is too much. Together we can do more.

Maggie's Cakes for a Cause is based on the baking love of an ambitious 3 year old. With the help of her mama and grandma we are baking to raise money to fight Alzheimer's and dementia. Please help us!!
