Fundraising Progress
My Story
This summer, I'm participating in 48 Peaks in honor of my mom, Barbara, who is currently living with dementia. 48 Peaks is a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I will be hiking Mt. Jackson, one of New Hampshire’s 4,000ft. peaks in the White Mountains, on June 8th. In the last two years, we have made monumental progress in the world of treatment against Alzheimer’s, including the first disease-modifying treatments. But, the fight is far from over. Today, over 50 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 6 million with Alzheimer's and dementia, providing over $287 billion worth of unpaid care. We must take action- now, as these numbers continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
