Fundraising Progress
My Story
On June 8 I'll be participating in 48 Peaks in honor of my mom, Barbara, who is currently living with dementia. 48 Peaks is a fundraising event to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. I will be hiking Mt. Jackson, one of New Hampshire’s 4,000ft. peaks in the White Mountains, with my sister and partner.
In the last two years, monumental progress has been made in the world of treatment against Alzheimer’s, including the first disease-modifying treatments. But the fight is far from over. Currently over 55 million people across the world are living with dementia, and the number is expected to reach 78 million by 2030.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
