Fundraising Progress
My Story
Alzheimer's Disease hits close to home as my mother, Mary Conner Novak, is currently battling this disease and my late aunt/godmother, Judy Conner Patsky, suffered from it as well. This summer, I'm honoring my mom, aunt, and those affected by Alzheimer's disease by participating in 48 Peaks for the Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I will be hiking to the summit of one of New Hampshire's 4,000ft. peaks in the White Mountains, Mt. Eisenhower, as part of Team Conner. Team Conner is named after two great women who made a big impact in my life. Please make a donation and help me reach my goal!
In the last two years, we have made monumental progress in the world of treatment against
Alzheimer's, including the first disease-modifying treatments. But, the fight is far from over. Today, over 50 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 6 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 11 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia, providing over $287 billion worth of unpaid care. We must take action- now, as these numbers continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
