My great Grandpa was an extraordinary man, who lived a very full life. He was a highly ranked pilot in the Air Force, and served in several wars. He loved animals, yard work, and just keeping busy. But above all, he was a father, a husband, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather. As he got older, and the Alzheimer’s got more advanced, it was so difficult to watch him struggle and be consumed by the disease, and no longer able to participate in his favorite things.
