Fundraising Progress
My Story
I lost my mother, Josephine Triana, to dementia in 2022. This debilitating disease took her away from our family, leaving us devastated. I want to honor her memory by supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. My loving mother was my everyday inspiration and her unconditional support developed a belief that I could succeed. She believed in me, when others did not. Both my sisters changed their lives to care for mom, and I will be eternally grateful for how they loved and cared for her during this disease. It is my hope to raise money for a cure, so other families do not endure this pain.
The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Today, over 50 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 6 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 11 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
