My family was blessed to have two incredible women who always delivered beyond any expectations we had of them. My Memere and Grandmother were both symbols of community, generosity, wisdom, and love. Unfortunately, we lost Memere in 2023, and my Grandmother this past winter. They both suffered from different forms of dementia, which for my family was an experience that was truly heartbreaking. In trying to find ways to help or heal from loss, I found the Alzheimer's Organization through my hiking endeavors, which has helped me find a lot of balance through friendships, goal setting, and a strong supportive community.

This summer, I'm honoring my family and those affected by Alzheimer's disease by participating in 48 Peaks, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

I will be hiking to the summit of Mt. Garfield. I am taking on this challenge of hiking these tough mountains to share my dedication in raising funds and awareness to end Alzheimer's disease! Please make a donation and help me reach my goal!
