Fundraising Progress
My Story
In June I am participating in 48 Peaks for the Longest Day, a fundraising event to fight Alzheimer's and other dementia because Alzheimer's has affected all of us. I am hiking this year in memory of my Uncle David who recently lost his battle with dementia. I will be hiking on Stacy Albach's team, Incline Junkies. We will be hiking two 4,000 ft. peaks, Mt. Monroe and Mt. Eishenhower in New Hampshire to raise vital funding and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association. Our team has taken on this challenge to show others that mountains can be moved. Together, we will outshine the darkness of Alzheimer's and illuminate a path toward a world without Alzheimer's and other dementias!
Today, over 50 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 6 million with Alzheimer's and dementia, providing over $287 billion worth of unpaid care. We must take action- now, as these numbers continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you for supporting me in these efforts through your donations.
