My Story
This summer, I'm honoring those affected by Alzheimer’s disease by participating in 48 Peaks, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I will be hiking to the summit of mount Garfield with team Incline Junkies, one of many teams who are hiking all 48 4000 ft peaks in support of this cause.
Today, over 50 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 6 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 11 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia, providing over $287 billion worth of unpaid care. We must take action- now, as these numbers continue to rise.
