This summer, I'm doing what I love to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. I’m participating in 48 Peaks, a hiking fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. I will be hiking to the tops of one of NH's 4,000 foot peaks to raise funds and awareness for all those affected! As of writing this post, I have finished 38 out of the 48 4,000ft+ peaks in NH and am excited to finish this milestone in the next couple of years (maybe this summer!). It is a challenge, but that's why it's so rewarding.

Over 156,000 individuals are living with Alzheimer's or other dementias in MA and NH, and over 6 million throughout America. Please consider donating to my page to help support the fight to end Alzheimer's so that one day, Alzheimer's is nothing but a memory. No one deserves to watch their loved ones slowly fade away, have to quit their job to become a full time caregiver, make the decision between quality care they may not be able to afford, or not be able to access important drugs because of the cost. These are all things the Alzheimer's Association helps with to ease the stress of caregivers and those living with Alzheimer's. This disease isn't slowing down, and neither are we! Today, over 50 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 6 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 11 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.
