My Story

I'm participating in The Longest Day, an event to honor the strength, passion and endurance of those facing Alzheimer's disease. From sunrise to sunset, GEORGIA ALPHA DELTA KAPPA teams will complete many different activities of our choosing to raise awareness and funds for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. I will be doing Laughter Yoga and other chapter activities.

Today, over 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s and more than 11 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to caring for those with Alzheimer's and dementia. These numbers will only continue to rise unless we take action. Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease or other Dementia, they are not alone. 

Please make a donation and/or you can join the Georgia Alpha Delta Kappa Team, to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research and provide care and support to those facing the disease today.

To honor of my mother's memory, I will continue to fight for a cure and raise my voice to the United States Congress, to make Alzheimer's and other dementias a national priority!
