My Story
My mother, Caroline Wilson, died of dementia in December 2016. It was so heartbreaking to watch her go from vibrant, youthful and creative to confused and afraid. In the end, my mom could not remember my father's name or do anything to care for herself. My father was with my mother constantly in the end of life, caring for her and soothing her fear and confusion. It was painful we both kept thinking there has to be something wrong here. Caroline always took such good care of herself and her body was so healthy - it was just her mind that was not.
Please help me support the alzheimer's association - maybe with our help and their research we can find a solution.
Your donation means so much, to myself and to all those affected by the disease. On behalf of more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million caregivers -- thank you.
