My Story
On June 24th I will be participating in the 7th annual Washburn Challenge, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. I will be honoring Les Martin, my father-in-law who died from this disease 11 years ago. We will be biking 20 miles and will kayak 7 miles in Falmouth all to raise awareness and vital funding to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. It is one of the largest Alzheimer's Association "Longest Day" fundraising events.
The Alzheimer's Association needs our support. The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to END Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
