Fundraising Progress
My Story
On June 15th, I'm doing what I love to honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease. I'm participating in The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I will be hosting a day of remembrance event involving cycling, running, walking, skeet shooting, and a hotdog roast in memory of my mom, Rebecca Barnhardt, who passed away from Alzheimer's. This will be my 9th year participating in The Longest Day for Alzheimer's Association since she passed in 2015. Please consider joining me with a donation. For those friends who enjoy cycling, running, walking, skeet shooting, eating and drinking please let me know if you would like to join for some or all the event with me.
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
