The Longest Day is the day of the year with the most light — the summer solstice. And in proximity to this day, on June 15th, 2024 I have committed to fight Alzheimer's disease by hosting our 3rd annual ride to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

My own Grandfather, "Bampa" was afflicted with this disease. It was difficult as a family to watch as the once capable, kind, and wise man deteriorated due the effects of Alzheimer's.  I choose to remember him as the man he was before his mental capacity was changed.
