This June Team EKY will be participating in the 8th annual Washburn Challenge, a 20-mile bike ride, 7-mile kayak and BBQ Celebration and silent auction, taking place in Falmouth, Cape Cod, benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association.  

This is the third summer my family has participated in this anwesome event in honor of my amazing dad who is living with early onset Alzheimers. 

He was diagnosed at age 58 and has showed incredible resilience and strength through the last several years. He is everyone’s favorite person and a true fighter. Our family and friends have been incredibly supportive in fighting this awful disease. There are no words to explain how devastating it is to watch someone you love and admire have their life slowly stripped away. With that being said we are excited to kayak bike eat and drink to help raise awareness and funds to find a cure.
