On June 22 I will be participating in the 7th annual Washburn Challenge. Alzheimer's is not slowing down so neither can we!  The Washburn challenge  was started by a dear friend  eight years ago to raise awareness and has grown to be one of the 5th largest Alzheimer Association “Longest Day” fundraising events in the country. Along with over 100 others, we will bike for 22 miles and then kayak 7 miles out and around Washburn Island, all to raise awareness and vital funding to benefit the  Alzheimers Association.
