Fundraising Progress
My Story
On June 22nd I will be participating in the 8th annual Washburn Challenge, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. I will be honoring Les Martin, my father-in-law who died from this disease 12 years ago. We will be biking 20 miles and will kayak 7 miles in Falmouth all to raise awareness and vital funding to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. The Washburn Challenge is the third largest fundraiser in the country.
The Alzheimer's Association needs our support. The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to END Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. The Alzheimer's Association is the primary reason we are finally in "the age of treatment". There has never been more hope, medications in the pipeline, a growing universe of researchers and better diagnostic tools being developed - all of which are finally changing the trajectory of this disease.
Please join me to END Alzheimer's and make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease.
Thank you,
Joyce
