My Story

On June 22nd, I will be in Falmouth MA, participating in the 8th annual Washburn Challenge- one of the largest Alzheimer’s Association ‘Longest Day’ fundraising events.  It consists of a 22-mile bike ride on the Shining Sea Bikeway (America’s first rail trail) and a 7-mile kayak circumnavigating Washburn Island in Waquoit Bay. Alzheimer’s disease is the only leading cause of death that is still on the rise and is projected to cripple America’s healthcare system in the coming decades. The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to END Alzheimer’s’ and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. 


This disease has impacted so many and their loved one's. Please join me to END Alzheimer’s.
